Artist's Comments
A sort of sister drawing to the other "Der letzte Tanz" picture. This der Tod is from another production of Elisabeth, a production by the all-female acting company Takarazuka Revue based in Japan. Takarazuka has produced seven productions of Elisabeth since 1996, with their most recent one playing this year currently. This particular der Tod is based on Sena Jun's costume and appearance during the "Der letzte Tanz" scene. Sena Jun is currently the top star of Moon Troupe, who is retiring this year, so this picture was also done in her honor.
